C10 Intervention 2025

We are heading to C10 Intervention Show at Woodland California. This is a yearly truck event we participate in for fun, no side hustle.

Stopping for ice and gas at the local gas station.

We leave earlier each year. This was the first time we actually got there and parked at Main Street West side. This is the section that has all the vendors and close to the downtown area.

Waiting in line at the West side entrance.

For whatever reason we seem to the primo spots at the show. It may be due to the size of our dually. It needs be in an area where it won’t be blocking through vehicle or pedestrian traffic so we typically will be placed in an open area like a corner spot.

The level of show trucks is high at this show, there are of course trucks like ours that are there to hangout and not to compete. Our truck “CaDually” is a functional ride, we haven’t cut into the bed to allow rear air ride suspension. That’s not to say it won’t happen later but it’s not at this time.

This show is known to be held during the hot season and this year was a scorcher. Due to the black asphalt the temperature is magnified as the day progresses. This is the first year we left early before the real heat kicked in. It was already 100 plus but towards the end it would have gotten much hotter. We bounced.

Shop truck doing shop things

We did the annual BCFAB show held Rancho Cordova.

We’ve done this show a few times now and this was the first time we got poured on with sap. The oak trees in the industrial park dropped so much sap you could see it.

C10 Intervention 2024

Here we go!

We arrived at the entrance line up around 6:30a, that would be considered late for some of the attendees. I heard guys were arriving at 4:30am and parking at the Chevron gas station waiting to stage up.

Once we got in we got waved to park parallel, I immediately started setting up our canopy in an area that was ideal for our home base.

We seem to get lucky when it comes to ideal parking spots at shows. I brought my Segway knowing that the Main Street walk would be tough once it became,e hotter.

It was another great experience at C10 Intervention. The day seems to go by some quicker each time we attend.

Poor rim repair

On our way back from the Reno show we lost air on the front left tire.

Upon initial investigation the original crack that was repaired twice failed again.

This is due to poor procedure and not using the proper welding application. The current weld is MIG and this type of aluminum repair requires the TIG method.

I’ve made arrangements to have the rim repaired again. This time by another service. I wasn’t going to burn any more money on
